I started the BLDG-SIM and other mailing lists a long time ago and served as the list admin. I am involved in several ASHRAE committees focused on building energy modeling. I have been on the EnergyPlus development team since before version 1.0 and wrote the classic EP-Launch, IDF Editor, tabular reporting, tariffs, and lots of other things.
